Responsible play checklist for Philippine adults
A practical 18+ checklist covering money limits, time limits, warning signs, and help-seeking steps.
Responsible play
Before you open any lobby
Confirm you are 18 or older. Confirm the money set aside is entertainment money after essentials. Confirm you have a stop time. If any item fails, do not open the app.
During play
Keep the ceiling visible. Do not borrow. Do not chase. Do not hide the screen from people who share your household finances. Take breaks on a timer, not on a feeling.
After play
Reconcile spending with receipts. Note mood: calm, flat, or desperate for a redo. Desperate for a redo means take at least a day off.
Warning signs that deserve action
Playing longer than planned, rising stakes to recover, lying about losses, skipping work or family events, and using credit for play. One sign is a yellow light; several are a red light.
Tools that help
Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, cooling-off, and self-exclusion where offered. Use them early — not only after a crisis.
People and professional help
Talk to someone you trust. Seek local mental-health or addiction resources if gambling harms wellbeing. Urgency is a reason to reach out, not a reason to deposit again.
